Access Auckland has been designed to provide you with the information you need when you're looking for somewhere to wine, dine, stay or play. As well as the information you'd find in many other guides, Access Auckland provides information on how accessible each place is. Whether you have needs around mobility (wheelchairs, pushchairs, crutches, etc), vision or hearing, this guide aims to ensure there are as few surprises as possible when you get there so you can enjoy your time out and about.
We've done the hard work so you can have fun.
This means that we have actually been along to see just how accessible it really is and appraised it against a rigid access criteria. It is anticipated that each business will be contacted annually about their accessibility and will be re-appraised by an assessor every three years.
Where possible we have included direct links to the business or event’s online booking system and website. There’s also a feedback form [add link] so that you can let us know just how fabulous (or not) a business is. We will pass on your feedback, be it a glowing reference or a suggestion for improvement.
